Keep thinking about what positions we are in need of. And we only have one true small Forward in Jae.
Sure Jonas can play some minutes there, and Turner.
Crowder is the only real SF capable of guarding NBA SF's. It would really fill a need to grab an awesome prospect or even sign a guy like Batum.
If we are drafting at five, Jaylen Brown makes sense, or If we get Lucky and take Bender third, taking Valentine with the Dallas pick would also work for me. Either way I'd love to add a SF in the off season.

A lot of versatility on the team.  Turner and Smart can both play the SF position.  Same with Jonas as you mentioned.  Hunter & Young at times as well.

We only have one traditional SF, but Smart mans the position well in small ball lineups.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Smart guards the 3 as well as anyone on the team.

As well as the 1s and the 2s and boxes out the 5s the best too.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

I would say that Turner is a SF, certainly more of a SF than a SG.

Jerebko can play there but it is clear that he is at his best as a PF.

James Young is also technically a SG/SF.

While we do have a lot of positional versatility, I agree with the OP that Crowder's skill set isn't duplicated elsewhere.  I'd argue that he's our most irreplaceable player because of this, with IT a close second.

Thanks Chilldog, I know Smart can guard SF's, but he's a point guard, there is nobody besides Jae that has the size, strength, bulk to play SF.

They need a lights out 3 pt shooter who can play the 3 or 2 and basically share time with Crowder and Bradley (if he's still here).  Ideally he's the type of guy who's on the floor with the game on the line as a reliable kick out option if teams take away Thomas.  And when I say reliable I mean more reliable than Bradley (who's been pretty good so far this season).

Simmons or Ingram would fit in pretty nicely.  :)
