IDK, i prefer spending the 3rd pick on a less risky prospect.

I'd rather have brown or dunn at 3-4. That said, if we get bender, I'd rather have brad developing him here rather than some second to third tier coach overseas.

Say the Celtics could draft Jaylen Brown, but he could return to college for a year or two before the Celtics had to offer him a rookie contract.  Even though I'm quite sure Stevens is a better coach than Cuonzo Martin, I'd rather Brown continue to physically mature while working on his skills before he is on the Celtics payroll, pausing the clock on when he's forts eligible for a large contract.  Same is true with Bender.  That he's willing to wait a year means it's one less year of paying a guy millions to sit on the bench and not be ready to contribute.  To me it's a plus, not a minus.

Dunn and Brown seem to have fairly high floors.
