Teams who could easily pass the Mavs, especially given injuries:

Portland
Utah
Sac
Houston
Pistons
Wizards

That'd give them the 11th worst record in the lottery

Orl, NY, Mil, NO, and Den are also possibilities as all are within 6 losses with ~30 games to go.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

That would be great.

I am also watching Memphis's record, with Marc G out, maybe they will convey their first rd this year to ??? (help me here), and then we would get their 1st rd pick in 2018 instead of 2019.

I don't see them dropping past the 8 seed which would probably be pick 15
EDIT
Wow. I did not realize how close things were at the bottom of that conference.

I dont see any way in which they fall below 9th in the West, but 9th in the West could feasibly convey a pick as high as 10 or 11

Isn't that pick top 12 protected?

Top 7
The Minnesota pick is the top 12 one.

Their pick has much less protection in 2019 than 2018, and we already have Brookyln's pick in 2018.  Accordingly, I'm hoping we get the pick in 2019 (or later if Memphis is terrible.)

Top 7

Roger that. I knew it was but not exactly sure what it was. I don't see it being a top 7 but a 8-10 would make a nice trade with our own for a lower spot with the right talking for Danny.

I like it because I think the 6th player and the 13th player valuewise aren't that far off this year.

So I think it goes (these are my personal rankings, feel free to disagree it's just an outline):

Tier 1
Ben Simmons
Brandon Ingram

Tier 2
Kris Dunn
Jaylen Brown
Dragan Bender

Tier 3
Jakob Poeltl
Jamal Murray
Henry Ellenson
Skal Labissiere (9th)
Diamond Stone
Buddy Hield
Ivan Rabb
Timothe Luwawu

Tier 4
Demetrius Jackson
Furkan Korkmaz
Damian Jones
Melo Trimble
Wade Baldwin

Tier 5
Valentine (19th)
blah blah blah

We could potentially get Jamal Murray or Skal Labiessiere at 11th overall the way things fall.  That's really good value.

I love tier breakdowns. It really cleans up the list. Nice work.

In preseason, I thought Dallas would be bad enough to send us a pick between 8-10.  they've played to well and the rest of the West has played too poorly for them to realistically finish worse than 9th in the West.  I think it's more likely they finish with the 7th playoff seed which may turn out to be 17th

Not to take away from all of slamtheking's hard work and dedication keeping that list updated, but I find myself going to www.tankathon.com probaly 3-4 times a week to check our outlook (that is when it's not All-Star break and there's actually games going on).  It's a pretty easy look to see where all of Boston's picks stand at the moment.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class
