- Said the c's are absolutely interested in trading for Horford
- Denver might be our biggest competition to land Horfod
- They should trade for Horford now because everyone will have cap space in the off-season
- Trade would be something like KO or Sully, Lee , 2 1st rd picks (not brk), though Mannix said he is willing to send the 2018 pick, I'm not...
- Says Horford is worth max because he is top 10 big man in league and can attract other fa's
- Not giving up Smart in Horford trade

WTH?  That's it?
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

I guess because he is a free agent and Atl thinks he's gone .

Wonder what denver would offer Faried and a pick?

It's for a half a season of him. There's no guarantees he resigns with anyone he gets traded to. Atlanta shouldn't expect more than that package.

That and this team is well coached and very unselfish. Horford would fit well on this team. I don't know if I want to pay max money for Al unless DA thinks that's the best he can do.

Atlanta has very little leverage if they don't expect to resign Horford.  The only real shot they have at getting teams to bid against each other.  But with a 1/2 year til free agency teams aren't going to want to pay much unless they are confident Al will resign there.  It's a pretty nice buy-low opportunity.

At that cost & you're not giving up any of the BKN picks, why the heck not?  It's a gamble but it'd be a relatively low cost one.  We've been talking about asset consolidation for some time now.

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
If Atlanta would do this deal then we would already have Horford. If their price comes down at the deadline then I would love to see this type of deal.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

good thing I'm not a GM, we are playing so well as of late and Sully is also ballin'. I know Horford is a much better player than Kelly or Sully, but our chemistry is so good right now, I don't want to risk messing that up. But having a capable PF who is consistent to play with IT4 is really attractive too

Sully and two non Brooklyn firsts?  That would be fantastic if we can sign him.
