Am I overreacting to Bradley's game-ending foul?

Totally. It was a one-time brain fart. Shouldn't affect his status at all.
26 (81.3%)
Probably. But it does genuinely cause one to worry a little about his BBIQ.
3 (9.4%)
Slightly. But he'd become overrated by us. Bradley's always been this way.
2 (6.3%)
Hardly. That was a test of his awareness in crunchtime. He got an infinite F.

I can't believe such a topic was created.

Eh, it was either start this thread or sleeplessly mutter obscenities about Avery. I feel less angst now and might be able to get to sleep soon. Thank you, Celtics Blog.

How about play DEFENSE as a team for the whole game for a change?
Celtics got a warning vs the kings, now here is the punishment.

You gotta look at it like plane crashes.  The safest (best?) airline to fly in the months following a big plane crash is the airline whose plane crashed.  AB is now the safest guy in the NBA not to make that same play again this year, including playoffs.

Bon voyage!

Weird we were praising AB after Cleveland game winner
And then a game later we're a mob with pitchforks

He's never been a high iq guy. He is what he is and we should all know that.  He is a good defender and jump shooter off the catch and in pick and roll especially in the first quarter.  He's not a play maker.  I guess thats irrelevant but my point is its definitely an overreaction.  Bradley has been excellent at what he does for us this year.

You sell when the asset is high and close or at it's max potential value. Not because it started to do bad and you let your heart get involved.

By this logic we should sell IT....Crowder may get better idk

but looks like we are going with this team.

Avery just had a bad day at work. It happens. No big deal. Clutch hero one night but scapegoat the next. Gotta take the good with the bad.

Don't forget Russell Westbrook lost game 4 of the 2012 finals with a bad foul. But I think most people here would jump at any chance to have him play for the C's.

Some of his awful passes in the game bugged me as much/more than this brainfart mistake. It happens to a lot of NBA guys. One outcome has no bearing for me on whether or not to trade a guy.

I was really angry about it last night, but upon reflection, that's Bradley's game. Quick hands, looking to slap away balls. Was it the best time, no, but I've seen many balls stripped on last second shot attempts.
I'm pretty sure most people, like myself were so angry because they had just made such an amazing comeback. We all wanted to see them finish it with a win.

Jesus it was a ticky tack foul.  Get over it.  Shouldn't even be trailing to the Bucks.

Do we gotta do that? Heroically winning one game and stupidly losing another game...that winds up drawing even, 0.0 impact.

That was a stupid foul, true. It did not actually lose them the game. It lowered their odds of winning from 3% to 1%. My guess is that Avery's stupid foul lowered the Celtics' win probability from, like, 45% to 1%. Also, Avery did not counterbalance that stupid foul with a superstar 43/7/5 performance.

But whatever, I got a semi-decent sleep.
I'm over it.
