I'd be all for it. Been a fan of his ever since reading this article...

Sanders is capable of KG at the 5 levels of defensive rim protection. He's strong, quick and denies spots before scorers can reach them.

He's kind of a nut believing in things like energy flows but he claims it helps him predict where slashers will end up around the basket. Whether or not he's an energy sensitive guru or a case of placebo effect, what he does works on the defensive end.

Sounds like his head isn't right yet and wants to stabilise his music career before committing to a come back. Definetly not the worst attitude to take.

Hey Mark Wahlberg this one's on you bud. Hook Sanders up with the right people like you tried to convince Jimmy Butler you could do and let's sign him up.

give him a vet min for 3 years, only the first year guaranteed.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

No player is going to sign that contract.  If he plays well enough for another vet min contract, he can sign one.  He is not going to give a team the ability to keep him at the vet min if he clearly outplays it.

A one year vet min maybe.   But I would expect him to get more in a one year deal.

Perfect type of guy to put in a great locker room, pay him the minimum, give him a very specific role, and see what happens.

That said, if he's getting his life together in LA, playing for Boston doesn't make much sense.

I have to think he's going to get paid a lot more than the vet's minimum if he comes out of retirements, warts & all.

I like his defensive minded game, and

Yeah, you hit the nail on the head. Leaving a life in LA for the cold, dark and snow of Boston will not be something he'll most likely look for.

Too bad, because he's the type of center we need.

By the time he signs it will be entering spring , just in time for the stretch run into the playoffs !

Royce White never did **** in the NBA. Sanders was an absolute terror for a stretch, in a league obsessed with 'rim protection'.

Why do you think Whiteside got another shot? How'd he do? Sanders was a far better player in his first stint than Hassan.

Looks like the next Lakers starting center to me.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Saw him play a few years ago. Thought he played some rather sick defensive basketball.

Didn't know about his drug problem and buyout. Don't why I'm bringing him up for a suggested tryout as Danny tends to keep problem children out of his camp. Anyone know if he's a total psycho or might be a reasonable person that might be able to rehabilitate himself?
