Draft night:
We have number one and Philly calls Ainge and offers the #2 and the Lakers pick at #4 in a two for one exchange.

In this case it's Ingram #2 and Bender #4, or Ingram#2 and Okafur for the #1 pick.

Thoughts?

I'd highly consider it

I don't watch much college ball but there has been LOTS of chatter in this forum and otherse regarding Simmons vs Ingram

I've seen a lot of people prefer Ingram in the long term, similar skill set but a harder conference in college (heard that somewhere in this forum)

I guess we also have to evaluate just how good the #4 guy is. If Simmons vs Ingram isn't too much of a big gap in terms of skill set, I'd consider the gamble but to also get the #4 pick which is still lotto, it'd be a waste if we cannot select a player that will definitely crack the rotation or use that #4 to grab another upgrade in a trade

Barring Simmons burning down the NCAA the rest of the year, yes.  If you say you're getting Ingram probably then Bender or Brown seems strong.

I think it's a bad trade for Philly again unless Simmons makes a jump.  Not that I don't really like him.

Well yeah I guess it's how badly Hinkie and Colangelo would want Simmons.

I'd have to think veeeeryyy hard if they offered me Ingram+Okafur or even Ingram+Noel.
Ingram+Bender or Jaylen Brown would be a pretty sweet duo to add to Marcus/Bradley/Crowder.

I'd take Okafor and the second pick and their 2017 first round pick.

I'd do it if Bender was still on the board at 4.
I'd consider it for the 2nd pick and Noel.

I don't see why Philly would take that trade.

Nope. Especially with this team. With Simmons we are in business from day one of his arrival. He's the best prospect since Durant I would say.
I like his future better than Wiggins and that's saying something.

We don't need two solid prospects we need one Big stud and that's Simmons.

Definitely, but that's because I prefer Ingram in the first place. Getting Bender or Brown in addition to Ingram would just be gravy.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Am I the only guy who would have Dunn than Bender?   I think you guys who like him are on a bender perhaps?

This stat line stinks

I like him potential wise.
He's 18 and just hasn't had much playing time in the euro pros.
Very hard to find guys that are that tall and can run the floor while dribbling ad finishing in transition.
He's got a sweet jumpshot too that doesn't need too much fixing.
His length gives him great defensive advantages too.
size and shooting with ball handling AND defensive presence are just very rare. Which pretty much summarizes why people froth over Bender's potential.
I love Kris Dunn, but he's had some pretty average games too.
I'd be happy with either one to be honest.

If they're wanting Simmons, I'd do a Noel and #2 for our #1 for sure. However, I'm much higher on Ingram than I am Simmons right now, so it's an easy choice for me. As for #2 and #4 for #1, that'd be a little more difficult.

Ingram's looking like a pretty solid consolation prize this draft --> along the lines of the Oden/Durant draft.

I'd strongly consider the offer if it was structured as #1 for #2 and our choice of #4, Noel or Okafor.

thing is, unless 2 teams jump into in the top 3 of the lottery, I don't see LA landing outside the top 3 to hand over that pick to Philly
