2.5 years ago the C's blew it up -- after losing RA a year earlier they traded PP and KG in June, 2013.

How improbable is it that 2.5 years later, after trading their 2 remaining best players for future considerations, failing to sign a top tier FA, and not trading away any of their prized future draft picks, this team is arguably the 6th best team in the league?

Especially improbable when you consider what the team gave up to get the two players who have had the most to do with that surge to #6 -- Thomas and Crowder.

Still, it's remarkable that we're talking about a team that everybody -- including the people running the team -- has absolutely no chance whatsoever of winning a title, or even making the Finals, as constructed.

On the one hand, it says a lot about the parity in a significant chunk of the league.  There are 10-12 teams all in a cluster below the top group.

On the other hand, it says a lot about how top heavy the league is.  The top 2-3 teams are practically playing a different sport.

Let's just enjoy what they are and not necessarily where they rank.  That they might reach 50 wins is downright spectacular.

ESPN ranks us well just prior to every losing streak we've had. Hoping for the best.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news...

But we got the Nets with a lucky game winner, then we lose a stupid game... what's next?

At least Utah hit a last-second three and knocked off Dallas in OT.
