Looks super athletic. Like someone said, does he ever passes the ball?Mayor thing with this kids is their head and attitude. If the mind is right he will improve everything when he comes to NBA. The talent is there...

Smartacus and max: Have you seen any highlights or read updates on Bender since Draftxpress? I haven't come across anything but would like to see if it's out there. Or, is your optimism based on what you saw prior to this season?

Quetz: I've only seen Dunn twice, once about a week ago against Depaul. Man, he really struggled. Incredible athlete, and I sung him praises earlier this season (pick #3, even) based on highlight reels and some articles, but I'm not sure about him yet either.

Both have such size and athleticism that there's little doubt they will be solid NBA rotation players. Like Pho said, though, I wonder for both of them where they will end up -- huge range of outcomes.

This is the most recent video I've seen of Bender and think it speaks well to his potential.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYQ5TIbVsy4

He can really move his feet for someone so tall. The transition dunk he has is effortless and the mechanics on his 3 ball seem textbook to my amateur eye. Quick shot, high release, nice arc, not much unnecessary movement in his body.

I'm not really scared off by the lack of playing time because I think if your running a Euro team and you know your going to lose a player to the NBA in a year or 2 it doesn't really make much sense to devote minutes in you rotation too him.

My main opinion of him was shaped By Draft Express's Mike Schmitz on this podcast. http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/240287/RealGM-Radio-NBA-Draft-With-Sam-Vecenie-Mike-Schmitz

If the Celtics do not end up with a top 2 pick, I think Jaylen Brown should be a potential option. After watching some PAC-12 games and more highlights of Brown, his game reminded me of a NBA player who definitely exceed all expectations. I looked up that NBA player's college stats and they are below.

Player A

MP   FG  FGA  FG%  2P 2PA   2P%  3P 3PA  3P%  FT FTA  FT%  TRB  AST STL BLK TOV  PF    PTS
27.3 5.2 11.4 .458   4.4 8.4 .526   0.8 3.0  .265  4.6 7.0 .656   5.4  1.9   0.7 0.6   3.1  3.2   15.8

Player B

MP    FG  FGA   FG%  2P   2PA  2P%  3P 3PA  3P%  FT FTA  FT%  TRB  AST STL BLK TOV  PF  PTS
31.3 4.9  10.7 .455   4.4  8.4  .523   0.5 2.3 .205   2.5 3.4 .726   9.9  1.9  1.4  0.7  2.3   2.5 12.7

Jaylen Brown is Player A and Kawhi Leonard is player B. The states that stuck out to me were FG%, 2P%, 3P%, and FTA. In his 5 year, Leonard is shooting 50.4 FG% and 47.1 3P%. So there is some encouraging news if the C's draft Brown. I would not mind drafting Brown if the C's land the #3 pick but the fans will have to temper their expectations. He could turn into a stud like Leonard.

Valentine is the perfect consolation prize for me.  Perfect replacement for Turner next season.
Can do everything Turner can do but is a much better 3 pt shooter

One of the steals of the 2016 draft
Are you saying you would take Valentine with the 5th pick?

I'm taking a swing on Diamond Stone way before Valentine.

I mean Valentine is a safe pick but it would be surprising for him to have any future star possibility. Would be a waste of a top pick.

FWIW (not much) : Tankathon currently mocks Valentine going to us at #19 by way of the Dallas pick.  (http://www.tankathon.com/mock_draft).   DraftExpress.com currently has him going at #18.
NBA Officiating - Corrupt?  Incompetent?  Which is worse?  Does it matter?  It sucks.

Valentine is as quick , actually a bit quicker than Turner. And Turner has done fine playing 2,3 positions

Valentine is a talent.  Also plays with effort. He displays the kind of leadership the Celts management like

Now brown is a risky pick. He is like part Wiggins, part Derozan. Good and bad. Not impressed much with his IQ. Improvises alot out there right now.  So so jump shot. Ind defense is good , but team d not so much. Again has the IQ like wiggins

I'm not interested if we're not 1 or 2. At that point, shop the pick hard.

Yeah, all we need is the Spurs player development staff :). I've seen people float Kawhi out there as a ceiling for Brown. I'm not sure that's reasonable given the defensive monster that Kawhi was even as a college sophomore, but the comparison helps to show how high Brown's ceiling could potentially be.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Dwayne Bacon would be the perfect consolation for our second best pick. Mark my words he will be a starting SG in the NBA. I think we could get him around 10 if he comes out.If we could land Brown and Bacon were almost certain to land a future all star.

Can't shoot, poor decision maker.

Poor mans Justise Winslow.

Been trying to like this kid watching him on Pac-12 Network...not impressed ...yet!

Brown's on ESPN 2 at 9:00.

Will try to like him again....want to be impressed.

Needs to work on his jumper.

Handle is a little loose. Needs to tighten it up.

The potential is there tho
