the cavs may not like it too physical at this point of season
if they get complacent the celts like counterpuncher might steal a win-
going to love watching win or lose-
marcus and chrowder will be looking forward to a physical game
just saw a replay of marcus after porzingis fouled him from behind
-that was some serious staredown

I expect small-ball for 70% of the time that Kevin Love is in the game.

I would like to see the Celtics use more of the clock offensively, make them work for more time each offensive possession, tire them out that way instead of giving them a free pass with too many early shots, make Irving run around chasing Thomas and get Love out on the perimeter and expose him.
Withstand their early punch and try and wear them down, good test to see how close the Celtics really are against a top flight contender on the road.

Just the opposite, I think the Celts need to push the pace to wear them down.  A slow down, grind it out game is just what the Cavs want.

We aren't very good in the half court, longer we let the clock run out the worse shot we tend to get. We don't have that guy that can get his shot every time on his own. C's are best to get out and run, make the Cavs run back and forth, slow it down you play in their favor. Lebron can't keep up with that kind of pace, never has.

Crowder and It need to speed up the from after every rebound tonight from the get go. We can't get into a tight game, they are better suited for that.

Love is about as tough as a wet kleenex.

Love the irony of an anonymous internet poster questioning the toughness of a professional athlete.

I don't watch the Cavs at all, except when the play the Cs.

I'm curious however, Love's reputation is a bit of a turnstile on defense...do any statistics support his? Does he have a David Lee-esque effect on his teammates?

I ask because I've been surprised that during his tenure in CLE Love seems to have rarely been put at the 5. I always thought it would be interesting to see CLE play small with him the 5 a la the 2012 Olympics. It's a given that the competition, and size of which, is different...but if the Cavs went with two guards, LeBron, Thompson, and Love at the 3/4/5, would that be so bad? Or even three guards plus LeBron and Love at the 4/5?
Long-form is far from dead, but please refrain from paragraph-laden posts! Who wants to read that?!

I actually think that plays into the Cavs hands more now. the up-tempo style leads to more turnovers and that kills us against them. I do think we need to run when the opportunity presents itself but when it's not there it's pointless and likely to end badly. of course trying to beat the Cavs strictly in the half court won't win it either, we just have to do it when it's there and actually score.

i think lebron can be very critical in his head of his teamates, they know it
so the pace and causing turnovers gets eveybody off there game-i.m sure he isn't happy with mozgov and smart pushing him around

This internet user is a combat veteran, so I think that qualifies me to question the toughness of anyone.   So enjoy your irony and perhaps go back to your safety zone?
