Whenever I watch this Orlando group, I wonder why they aren't better.  There's a ton of talent on this team.  I guess the pieces don't really fit that well, though.

They have 20 wins, what more do you want?  :P

For them to win more than they lose?  They were doing it earlier this year but they've gone into a nose-dive recently.
They are still in the playoffs race - it is very tight after all.

I agree they are one of the most talented teams in the league. I like their coach too.

FINGA ROLLLLLLLLLLLLL
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Of course Sully goes and scores 9 points in the first quarter after I say something about him sucking on offense.   :P

Related: this is why the Magic are 4 games below .500.

How a 7 footer like Vucevic is so poor at defending the interior is beyond me.

To be fair, Sully was pounding Gordon not Vucevic, not that your point doesn't stand.

I don't know why Skiles put those defensive assignments as he did.

Gordon at least has the excuse that he's still growing into his body and gaining strength to defend guys like Sully.

It wasn't a critique of Gordon's defensive ability, but a critique of defensive assignments. I don't think Gordon should've been trying to be guarding Sully in the post.

If you replaced Turner with a player like Fournier, that'd go a long way.  Celts need a shifty outside shooter off the bench like that.

Jae has gotten excellent at finishing. All he has to do is improve his handle. Developing some semblance of a post game couldn't hurt either.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Yeah, I understand.  You're right, it was a mistake by Skiles.  Gordon oughta be able to box out Amir, though Amir's got a pretty significant height advantage for completing lob plays and finishing over the top of Gordon in the paint.

I just looked it up, he's shooting an absurd 70% at the rim!

Maybe a quick post-game for taking advantage of switches, sort of like what the Celts have done with Marcus.

I prefer for Jae to act quickly when he's got the ball in his hands, not hold onto it very long.  Shoot or pass within a couple dribbles.  That's when he's at his best.

Kelly's PnR defense is atrocious.
