I don't think there is any way the Jazz would deal Hayward for Thomas.

If they would I'd be all for it. Hayward has position versatility and could easily fit in at the 2 if they wanted to move Bradley to the bench and start Smart. The C's could also start Hayward and Bradley in the back court with Hayward doing the ball handling duties and Bradley defending opposing ones. They could also go small with Hayward at the 3 and Crowder at the 4. He would absolutely fit on the C's.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

This would be a steal for Utah.

Thomas is the best player in the deal, and makes half the money over the same years.
Think about that for a second-- we'd have to add pieces to move the best player in this deal.

As such, I'd only include him in the deal if they send back Exum.
This seems fair--

Thomas, Jonas, Zeller, Turner + our own 2016 1st
for
Hayward & Exum

Utah laughs at that deal. Sullinger would have to be included. And he can play with his buddy Burke

OR

Hayward and Burke for It4, Zeller, Lee, young, 2 1sts, 2 2nds

For Hayward though I bet Utah would want Olynyk.

They wanted to draft him before Danny traded up. Good job

I'd be okay with either of your counter proposals.  Love the idea of freeing up Smart to play pg, and moving AB to a sixth man role.

Smart
Crowder / AB
Hayward / Jonas
Kelly / Sully
Amir

IT4 undersold here due to his size.  Look at the numbers, trading him and pick for Hayward would be a very bad deal for us. Pass.

Thanks all for the feedback...
From what i gathered, it's about a 70%yes - 30%no from this forum. (prob should've started a poll). As long as it doesn't involve Smart, Olynyk, or Crowder, it seems like most of ya'll are okay with this deal, especially if it includes some more players and non-brooklyn picks.

As for how the lineup would work, this is how i would envision it. I want less players in the rotation.

Smart/Turner
Crowder and Hayward are pretty interchangeable / Bradley
Olynyk (Sully if he's around)/ Jonas
Amir/Olynyk/ (Zeller if he's around

Hayward and Burke to Celts for it4
