He wouldn't be taking crowders' minutes and visa versa. They can play at the same time as pointed out in another post. Hayward would play the 2 while crowder plays the 3.

Fair enough. I was assuming Hayward at the 3 but you're right, he can play the 2.

....or, Hayward could play the 3 and Crowder the small-ball 4. Now that could be interesting:

IT
Smart
Hayward
Crowder
Amir or KO

As much as I'd like that, as others have said, Utah will want an overpay (BKN + one of IT, Smart, or Crowder), and I don't think Ainge does that.
