I know I know....why would Portland trade CJ? He is talented offensively but defense is not the greatest....so could a backcourt of Lilliard and CJ work on a contender with their defense. ( I got this theory from portland site: http://www.blazersedge.com/2016/1/25/10817616/cj-mccollum-trade-portland-trail-blazers-jahlil-okafor-philadelphia-sixers-76ers)

They need a defensive backcourt member and imo they need a post player...starting Vonleh

So would a trade of Avery and Sully for CJ  work? Portland is way under cap so $ is not a problem.
- Avery is much better defender but not quite the scorer CJ is. BUT maybe Sully would add a low post presence that Portland needs???
-Would we need to add a pick to the trade?

Smart/CJ/Crowder/Kelly/Amir lineup doesn't sound bad?????

*I'm not sure I would love the idea but i'm intrigued

I highly doubt Portland would do that. Exchange Sullinger for Olynyk and they might bite. If not, might have to add a pick.

In the only trade I d trade Smart and It .   Would be a one that pairs Lillard with CBS as his coach .

We would have our Klutch player under CBS .....close games would be ours
