@foulweather is a good example of a guy that doesn't care about anything. His default mode is cynicism

Look bro, I took your grain of truth and I planted a field.  Now you wanna throw labels around because you can't see over the stalks.  So it goes.  Let us know when you come around to reality.

@smartacus You didn't follow through on providing some examples of trades...real bummer
 :'(

Anyway, no need to be so calculated in your responses, it's a sports forum. A medium in which fans of all IQ level can co-exist.  Relax your sphincter for a little bit and understand that there are no trades to be had.

Yeooppp because I named myself Smartacus when our Point guard of the future (I hope) is name Marcus Smart I think my IQ is waaay higher than everyone else's. That's why I have a legion of fans hanging on my every word.

Nah I go this sports forum to increase my knowledge, I learn a lot more than I post. Guess I was just cranky from seeing the tired old there are no trades to be had argument from someone who like I said probably wont be here this time next year.

As for the trades I'm not going indulge you with my ideas, I'm defending the point that people of all IQ levels have a right to discuss trades on a sports forum.

As for my "countless" comment well they're are 446 players in the league that is a near countless number of possibilities for how they could be traded. Many of those trades would benefit us more than standing pat, many would not.

You say with certainty there are no trades to be had. I say we are not far enough in the rebuild to lock up the roster. That's the argument and TP to you for your thoughts.

@smartacus So not even one example?  Pretty weak. Just keep looking at players as just numbers (like a nerd)

@smartacus This roster obviously isn't untouchable.  However, you don't play around with it for now.

This team just needs more time with Big Daddy Brad Stevens. The talent is there

So the roster's not untouchable... but you don't touch it for now? Sorry which side of your mouth are you talking out of?

I'm looking for long term improvement and consolidation of our assets, if a trade like that can also help in the short term like the Isaiah Thomas trade did, gravy.

A better use for this thread would be for us all to talk about our favorite scenes from the revenge of the nerds movies. Mine was the food fight in one of the sequels.

Also, back on topic. A person can't like basketball and be a nerd. That would make them a jock. Did you not own a VCR in the 80s?

Great VCR You tube clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uOmunwArTGg

Reading 3 pages of this thread is like watching monkeys throw crap at each other at the zoo. It's entertaining but you feel ashamed that you stuck around to watch the poo fly.
