Nothing from our bigs.  Different year, same story.  Still need a consistent, solid big man.

But ... small ball!  ;D

I have no problem with bigs who have good shooting range and can stretch the D, but I still say every team needs a couple of more traditional bigs—7-footers who have a good post game as well as a good face-up game, and who are willing to be in the trenches on defense, blocking shots and grabbing lots of rebounds.

Are we grooming Smart to play sg or does Turner just like to dribble?

Yeah, three games in a row now that the ball has ran the smoothest with Smart doing the ball-handling, but Stevens just lets Turner dribble the air out of the ball out there. I can't wait until next season when he's gone.

Must we really wait until next season?

If we have him, Stevens is going to play him. I don't know why, but I've just accepted the fact now.

When's the last time that Smart has played in a lineup with only one other guard?? It seems that Stevens is only using him in small-ball lineups anymore, which really takes away his strengths on the perimeter.

Every time Turner brings the ball up with Smart out there I die a bit inside

Seriously, how long does it take Stevens to realize that Smart needs to be handling the ball in the second unit? Every single time he initiates the offense the ball moves around and we get good looks. He's not dependent upon isos and breakdowns like Turner.

Surely some other playoff hopeful is in need of a competent ballhandler.

If they want competent I'm not sure they'd be interested in Turner...

I mean, you can do worse than Turner.  You can also do a lot better.

why do we rarely see a lineup with smart(pg), AB (sg) and Jae(sf) early in games? it seems like that pairing looks good when they do get a few mins.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Smart has turned a corner, folks. We need to give him the reins, at the very least to the second unit.

Excellent drive by Smart!  Need more of that.

That's what I'm saying. We rarely ever see it unless it's small-ball with Jae at the 4.
