So Demar Derozan and Chandler Parsons have player options after this season. If they don't exercise them, does this mean that they will be unrestricted or restricted free agents? Also, what would be the incentive to exercise them?
CB Mock Deadline - Minnesota Timberwolves
Kemba Walker / Tyus Jones / Aaron Brooks
Jimmy Butler / Jamal Crawford / Treveon Graham
Rodney Hood / Nic Batum / Marcus Georges Hunt
Taj Gibson / Nemanja Bjelica / Jonas Jerebko
KAT / Derrick Favors / Cole Aldrich
Picks - 2018 CHA 1st (Lotto protected), none out

If they don't exerceise their options, they become unrestricted free agents. Whether they exercise the option or not is usually dependent on whether or not they think they can get more money by opting out, which they almost certainly would.
