Say he stays relatively healthy and doesn't have foot problems the entire season . The kid can ball. He has really improved his defense and rebound, and is a legit go to scorer.

Not only would it help add to our current roster, it greatly improves the chances of those Nets draft picks .

Say we get a top 5-10 pick from the nets this year, plus Lopez

PG: Smart    / IT
SG: AB        / Hunter
SF: Crowder/ Jerrebko
PF: Sully      / KO
 C: Lopez     / Amir

plus whoever our top 5 pick is

That is clearly a 50+ win team, and top 5 in the East .

If Danny misses out on Durant, I have to imagine Lopez is near the top of the list of possible max free agents next year.

If the guy can play ALL season 35 minutes .....then .....maybe he is healed up ...

But that's a long way to go.

If they win too many games he might have to consider some kind of trade ......smh

He just got a new contract this summer didn't he?

I say pass on him. He still doesn't fit our playing philosophy.

I didn't look at the first post, is it satire?

Noooooope.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Only if he wants to make sure his rebuild is a total failure.

Should the blog's mgmt set up a review process before posting 'Transaction Ideas'? Because this seasons day to day has reached a new low -- at both extremes.

Eh, they are ideas - not everybody is going to agree. Perhaps the thread title should be changed to, 'should we trade for Brook Lopez?', but if there is an idea that doesn't interest you, it is probably best not to click on it at all.

So you respond to my suggestion that we have a traffic cop by acting like a traffic cop... telling me we shouldn't have a traffic cop?

Fact is the quality of ideas has gotten ridiculously bad. If you have a problem with me calling that out, take your own advice and read something else.

Only if we want to tank. Sully and Lopez next to each other in the starting five would be a nightmare.
