17.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.7 steals with 48%/42%/72% shooting in 30.1mpg.

I'd like to see what happens if we start giving him consistent 35+ minutes like tonight.  Those numbers are excellent.  I hope he keeps trending up.

I prefer no one on this team gets 35 mpg particularly Bradley who spent the predominant part of his early career battling an assortment of injuries.  Same goes for Sullinger as well as Smart when he comes back.

Interestingly enough he's also been efficient so far this season. He currently has a PER of 17, he usually hovers around 10-12 his entire career. It would be interesting to see if this holds up.

I think we should get together and get Avery into the all-star game.

His jump shot is money in the bank this year.
Never expected him to make the jump he has but I'll take it.
Plus, what is he 24? Just hitting his stride.

Avery Bradley this month:

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
He has been simply amazing.
His shot selection, his ball handling, his pressure on the ball. I still want to punch him through the TV after some of those long two point jump shots bounce off into the crowd but I can live with those if they are cut down significantly.

I think having Smart and Crowder out there with him has helped him on offense. He knows that those guys will defend with just as much heart as him and the result is a boatload of points of turnovers/fast breaks.

Please god let this year be the year Avery Bradley breaks out and becomes an All Star candidate.
Just the epitome of a hard working Celtic.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Remember all the people complaining about his contract and him in general? Looks pretty good now

He still doesn't bring a lot to the table if his shot isn't falling, but so long as he's shooting flames it doesn't matter.

Interesting how this team functions when it has a reliable second and third option on O. Everything picks up, defense, steals, attitude etc.

Avery is looking like a solid scoring veteran on the floor. Add in his defense, and you're talking about a valuable Celtic piece moving forward. Starting or coming off the bench.

Avery is now the team's best three point shooter...better than Isaiah.

Bradley - 2.4 made per game
Thomas - 2.2 made per game

Bradley - 41.8% on threes
Thomas - 32% on threes

I have to admit...I didn't see that coming.

Not a special defender anymore??

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
His handle has been much improved this year. I'm hoping that as the season goes along he takes advantage of hard closeouts and attacks the basket more.

His shooting probably won't be like this all year, but if he can start attacking more with his improved handle he can whether bad shooting nights.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Agree completely.

I still am holding out hopes that Bradley's greatest value to the Celtics is whoever comes back to us in the trade he is involved in.
