  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Ingram is growing on me but he doesn't seem to play games as effortlessly as his high school game. That will probably improve because the college season only just started but I was expecting him to go in and dominate a bit more.

Who do you hope Danny takes with the 3rd pick?

For me it's Jaylen Brown.
would be the answer for us at small forward. He's like a small forward version of Russell Westbrook with a better jumpshot and 3 point range. He's got a real winners mentality and aggressiveness about his game which I love- just disregards anyone in his way and isn't afraid of contact with anyone. He has a very complete game and the significant benefit with this kid is like Winslow he'll be able to come in and defend well immediately.
There's just something about his fluidity and finishing ability that separates him from most others. Simmons has more brute strength and size ala Lebron, this guy has size and control on the fast break like Michael Jordan. (Very similar measurements lol).
He just seems to be going at full speed, yet everything around him is in slow motion.

Who's your guy and why?

"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Ingram = special combination of size, quickness and skills.

Same here. I keep hearing Brown is the real deal, and he'd fit perfectly at the 3 next to Smart and Bradley.

Jaylen Brown!
Ingram has disappointed me after a great start. He seems to be having difficulties scoring the basketball, which really isn't what this team needs right now :o

The little I've seen of the college year so far has me as a Brown fan for the #3 pick.

And I'd love to get Poeltl with that second pick, whomever it comes from. Don't know if he'll make it out of the top 10, though.

I have yet to watch a Cal game to see Brown play , have only seen a few games online of Benders, and have watched a little of Ingram. So with very little to go on my early pick is Bender.
I personally think he and Labissiere will be a close call at #2. From what I have seen of Bender he looks to have an excellent feel for the game, is a great passer, great ball handler for a true 7' and possesses great size (height and Length) at the PF. He is also over a year younger then Skal.

Same here. I keep hearing Brown is the real deal, and he'd fit perfectly at the 3 next to Smart and Bradley.

I'm concerned that he's essentially Jae Crowder, and wouldnt be able to crack the rotation.
However... the first two dunks of this clip, means that this kid is a PROBLEM.

BPA. Probably Brown from what I've seen so far.

I don't know who it is, but we'll know in six months.

Brown and Poeltl seem like the best "also-rans" so far.

I don't think you should be too concerned, because Crowder is a very good player with two big limitations--- (1) shooting and (2) bounce. Brown is a plus in both of those categories.

I would argue against you on the shooting. DraftExpress showed some significant flaws in his mechanics. Proving out so far as he is 19% from 3pt range on 3 attempts a game.
