Live in South Florida now.

Met first wife (hippie chick) in Cambridge in early seventies while stationed in Weymouth with USMC. She was from Watertown, Mass. Her dad was a Celtics fan and liked to drink beer while watching the Cowens and Havelicek teams. Divorced her stoned goofy butt in late eighties and kept love for the Celtics.   And Beer of course

Sure do. Born and raised in the scenic, and suddenly fast improving, city of New Bedford, MA.

A few years ago I lived in JP (Jamaica Plain, a Boston neighborhood) for a good while. Worked for some excellent chefs, jump started my career, and came back to the South Coast (IMO, a vastly underrated area of the state). Me and the Mrs have settled in a nice little town called Mattapoisett now. Our first baby is due in February and I'm very happy to be raising my kids here too.

Im pretty sure my user name tellsthe story. Never liked the knicks.. I use to follow Steve Nash to whateverteam he went to. My bro isnt a Celtics fan but was a Die hard Pierce fan. Honestly, i jumped on the bandwagon in 08 but for some reason i been hopked ever since.. I wanted to talk bout rhe celtics so much i googled a C"s forum and found this one..  Learned so much about basketball in general here.. Definitely was an amazing decision

Only 24 here btw

It'd be interesting to see everyone's age here, too. You kind of gauge people's age from their posts, and I wonder how far off we all are. I'm representing the other side of the mid-twenties from you (26).

24 here as well, though I know a lot of our most prominent regulars are much older and wiser than us.

Born and Raised in the Washington DC area.

My parents, mainly my mom bc her side of the family were big basketball people, were big celtics fans (they loved watching Bill Russell and Hondo growing up) and they just raised me to be a celtics fan too.

The Celtics are the only out of market team I root for, GO Redskins, Orioles, and Caps!
