From, Honolulu, Hawaii, born and raised.

Celtics fan because of Paul Pierce.  Moved to and lived in Boston for two years - being a C's fan before moving there, going to TD Garden to see them live was genuinely incredible, although the C's sucked at the time.

Currently reside in the Bay Area in California.

Cincinnati. Played youth basketball on a team called the Celtics. I was 10 Larry Bird's rookie season. That's all you need in the mind of a child to be hooked for life. Went to LB basketball camp in 7th grade in French Lick, and my 17 y.o. Son is just as obsessed as I am.

I occasionally think about what would have happened if I played for the Lakers (ugh!) or the Cavs - I probably wouldn't even be an NBA fan now.

Moving to Dorchester in January but I'm from the South Shore originally.

Became a can in 07 after seeing KG and never looked back.

Mississippi born and raised, Dad grew up in Jackson with no team and fell in love with the mystique of the Celtics. I left the hospital in a Celtics onesie and never looked back.

Awesome! My wife's family lives in Pearl and Brandon right over there by Jackson.

Geographically, haven't gone very far in my 6+ decades.

Born in a city north of Boston, college in Cambridge for 4 years, summer clerkship in D.C. and back to a town NE of Boston. Boring guy.

My kids are far more travelled and eclectic in the areas that they have lived and visited.

First Cs game vs Philadelphia Warriors in '59. Hooked.

Lived in NE all but 4 years of my 34+ years.

Born in NC and moved to MA when I was 2. Lived in Phoenix for 2 years between 18-20. Otherwise spent 25+ years living in New Hamster.

Yes, someone I once met in Phoenix asked me, "where is New Hamster", when buying cigarettes. That was funny!

i keep moving to better jobs, hopefully this will be the final one.

my father was from the north shore, which accounts for my celtics love...and red sox.

p.s. to donoghus...where in worcester? my spouse went to clark for grad school so i know the area a bit.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I wanted to talk bout rhe celtics so much i googled a C"s forum and found this one..  Learned so much about basketball in general here.. Definitely was an amazing decision
