Does IT start tonight against Wall, even when he gives up 7 inches to him in height? That seems like a recipe for disaster.

I know that Brad Stevens mentioned possible changes if they didn't snap out of their poor play.  I'd think that he'd have to consider starting Turner and bringing IT off the bench. The only other choice would be Rozier and I'm not sure he's ready for that kind of pressure yet.
Yes, or at least have IT on a short leash, and make the switch to Turner if necessary.

Beal and Wall will be tough for Turner too. With their quickness advantage. Tough backcourt to play against without Smart around. So much offensive firepower and athleticism.

Maybe Bradley and Crowder on Wall and Beal. Turner on their SF. I'd be kinda interested to see how Crowder does on Wall. Probably 2nd best defensive option against Wall after Bradley with Smart out.

The C's should start Turner, Bradley, Crowder, K.O. and Sully.  Bring I.T. and Amir in off the bench.  I.T. trying to guard Wall or Beal is just not a good idea and Amir holds little value chasing Humphries around the 3 pt. line.  The Celtics starting lineup was crushed by Wash. in the last game and the same will happen tonight if Brad doesn't make some changes.

This will be a very difficult game. I hope I won´t have to feel as frustrated as I did during the last 3 games. I literally felt sick most of the time watching those games.

So without Smart to lead the defense .  .....ugh

That means we have to try and beat them with OFFENSE

This Celtic team just has no real serious fire power .......AB and IT won't be enough

So .....here is where Celtics suck.......after IT and AB......there is no offense that shows up every night.  This team generates wins via Defense lead by Smart .    ...ugh....

We have to pray ......just like when Green was here......hit or miss ....would he be part of the game or hide ..that KO, Amir ,  Zeller and Lee can make some shots and not build a brick condo under the boards......other than Sully ......we have no front court scoring to speak of .....that we can COUNT on

Sully will give us least 10 and 10.

We can not win an offensive shoot out.

We have to pray ......just like when Grren was here........that KO, Amir , Sully , Zeller and Lee can make some shots and not build a brick condo under the boards......other than Sully ......we have no front court scoring to speak of .....that we can COUNT on .

And we already know that we will shoot 35% at most again. We need a miracle from Sully/Zeller/Lee tonight.

welcome back from the future! how was the trip through time? i am assuming you actually made this time trip since you state that you already know the celtics' shooting percentage.

want to wager a tp on whether the exact percentage will be 35% as you discovered in your time journey?

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I'm not saying whether we will win this one, but we ran through them w/o Smart last time. We are in a funk so who knows what will happen.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

K.O. put up 19pts. 7 reb. 4 ass. 4 st. and a block in 27 minutes last game against Wash. and was a +29.  Thats all we need again this time LOL.

Without Smart .....Beal and Wall will score about 60 points ......

So AB and IT score 50 points .......Suly 16 points .......from then ......it just goes down hill really really fast .....who can we count on?

To win .....KO , Lee , JJ and Zeller have to do something besides stand there and shoot bricks all night.

If they don't go to the hole all night ....will energy and purpose.....I don't see the Celtics winning.

That's right !   We need a big that can help carry the scoring load for the guards .  KO did that night ....but he has pulled the Jeff Green magic Act .......can't have that crap and win.

We need to trade four of the bigs and get ONE reliable big man that can SCORE the dang ball EVERY game......not 1 of 5 games.

The C's beat Wash. earlier this year without Smart.  The bench mob destroyed them.

I'd almost rather have Crowder on Beal, because that's mostly chasing him around off screens with less one-on-one defensive coverages. I'd put Bradley on Wall, because his lateral quickness seems much closer to Wall's explosiveness.

That's a good idea. Their post presence is weak, so having two guys to really spread the floor will open it up for IT and Turner to penetrate and kick.

However, I doubt we see any changes to the starting lineup, especially regarding big men.
