Cool. I hope he's good at it. I've never heard him do a game but Powe is maybe my favorite Celtic of all time. All hustle and heart.

Is Max just off today, or is it one of his TV appearances?

He's one of my favorites too! I'll root for him in anything he does in life.

Talk about the poster child for overcoming adversity. Tremendously difficult childhood, college injury that croaked his draft stock (lucky for us, getting him from Denver after being drafted 49), clawed his way from 4th on the depth chart into playing time to be a dominant force in one huge game in the Finals series that we won vs the Lakers.

Powe was playing out of his mind after KG went down in '08-09. Then Leon went down. I contend that had he not gone down, we would have beaten the Magic And the Lakers.

Here's a great but lengthy article on Powe. If you're a fan, it's worth a read.

Yeah, I've heard most of that. I remember every time he'd come in for that two year stretch, he was automatic for a couple of offensive rebounds and put-backs. Usually with an And-1 to go with it. He was also such a cool change of pace from Garnett. I was happy when the Celtics organization brought him back into the fold. I don't know what he has been doing for the team but I know he was working for the organization in some capacity for a little while now.
