  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
whyyyy ab whyyyy, we needed MOMENTUM

Agree, although to be honest without his scoring in the first place, we wouldn't even be in the game right now.

Is Bradley still improving? His handles are noticeably better. His shooting is clearly improved. Seems like he gets better every year. Turning 25 this week.

This is what some here have been saying for years.  Others have been persistent AB doubters.   If AB can consistently be 75% of the offensive player he's been tonight (so far), he'll ben an all-star.

When IT isn't scoring well, he's kind of useless. He can't defend, his passing is reckless at times. When he doesn't have it, he really forces it.

Does anyone feel okay with trying to trade for Barnes and maxing him?

I feel like someone at SF who can shoot, and is athletic enough to get easy transition buckets is someone we desperately need.

Crowder is not the answer. I still stand by my assessment that his offense doesn't make up for him starting.

More than okay. Have to spend it somewhere. If he never improves, he's still a significant upgrade, fits the system well, etc. Have yet to see if he can score in isolation, too... can probably create his own more than he shows given GSW greatness

Without Smart, the defense is pretty porous. It's hard to see us playing .500 ball without Marcus.

I've about soured on Jae. He's definitely not a good enough shooter to be shooting as much as he is.
tonight thomas is suckingly sucky so the celtics need offense from somplace. i dont blame crowder for trying to provide it since someone has to do it. these are the nights that i wish olly would finally try to score a LOT more. but tonight we have passive olly. sigh.  :P

This is why we need Smart desperately and Smart is a more valuable player.  When IT has a bad game offensively he really brings nothing else to floor...especially because he is so wrapped up in his offense he forces it and causes turnovers.  When Smart has a bad game offensively he can still bring it on D and shut down multiple players.

It's just impressive to see him continue to quietly make strides. Makes me wonder what his ceiling is, too. He's still young...

David Lee still has game.

Yes he does.  Best post scorer on this team by far.

David Lee still has game.

Yes, yes he does. The problem for him is when he tries to do too much, but if he just makes smart passes and stays down low, he's still very valuable.
