Idea: Jerebko, Zeller, and our 1st this year for Ryan Anderson

This can be done on or after December 15th due to Jerebko signing recently.

Anderson is an expiring.

He is also only 27.

I think they might really blow things up very soon in N.O.

I prefer keeping Jerebko, 1st and T.Zeller.

I might prefer Jerebko to R.Anderson as backup PF. Not sure. Need to think on it some more. Ryan Anderson is a terrific offensive role player but a subpar defender & rebounder. Jerebko a solid all-rounder. I really like Jerebko's all-round game vs having to worry to pair R.Anderson with strong defenders to compensate for his limitations. I feel like Anderson is the type of guy who lets you down frequently in the playoffs because he cannot cover his defensive duties while Jerebko is the type that is reliable.

I know Anderson has game, but isn't he another power forward?  Not sure it fills a need.

Anderson just seems like a Brad Stevens kind of player.

He was the 57th ranked PF in real plus minus last year.  He was next to last (86th out of 87) in defensive real plus minus though.

Could our team defense cover for him?  It is not like Korver is a great defender, yet the Hawks seem to cover for him!!

Nah, too slow and clearly a PF.  And is it worth giving up a first round pick and a valuable backup wing to force one of our bigs (who are all doing well) to the bench? 

If we're going to get another big, we should be looking for a rim protector, not yet another guy with good offensive game, but is defensively limited.
