He's getting less minutes and development there now, we could add Turner and take back Payne if they want another Small Forward.

Crowder and Muhammad would make a good one two punch offense and defense he's a fantastic athlete and inside scorer.

need another option --> Minny would have to sweeten the pot because Sully is the better player so far this year.

Also, could use --> would trade one of Lee, Zeller or KO instead of Sully for Shabazz.

I think Shabazz would be an interesting pickup but not enough of one to trade one of our bigs for him.  If he's not getting much time in Minny, there's a reason for it.

Would like another voting option:

No. Want to use Sully (and other pieces) to land a bigger fish.

Take the protection off this year's first and you have a  deal... haha.  8)

I do like Payne a lot btw.  But agree we'd need something more for giving up Sully (and Turner) at this point...

Not sure Shabazz is worth anything more than a 2nd rounder.

A lot of limitations still in his game. Type of guy whole lineup as to work to accommodate into the offense. A characteristic that is far from ideal in an 8th-9th man.

I'm open to trading Sullinger, but not to downgrade like that both in potential and current production. He's still a RFA which gives the C's options.

Horrible trade.

Sully is worth so much more than Shabazz and Shabazz brings nothing to this team except a 3rd or 4th SF. You don't trade your best rebounder by far and a starter and picks for a bench player that might not even make the active list come game day.

You could title this poll "who here is familiar with shabazz Muhammad's NBA potential" and get the same results.

I like Shabazz a lot, but I'm not sure I'd give up Sully for him. I'd probably rather give Minnesota their pick back for Shabazz.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

I see it as, at best, a very lateral move, so no point in doing it.

Horrible trade.

You do if you don't plan on paying Sully upwards of 50 million dollars.

You make that trade if you don't plan on giving Sully a really big contract that someone else will give him do you really want to pay him 55 million dollars?

I bet someone else offers at least that much.

why wouldn't you?  solid player so far this year -- our most consistent player so far.  huge jump in the cap next year.  I don't think he'll command $50 mill and you don't really have a solid basis for saying that's what it would take to resign him.  I think he comes in at around $40-44 mill.  He'll make better money than AB and Crowder as he should.

Do you care to make a friendly 10 Tp wager on that. I'll take the over at 44 million, you take the under.

Btw I'm for signing Sullinger at a reasonable deal. It's just that I feel he will command a lot of money right now.
