Stephen Zimmerman from UNLV is a very intriguing prospect. A shot blocker who can hit the outside shot and has excellent handles for a big man, pretty skilled all around. Good fit on Stevens offense. Only a Freshman and just turned 19, maybe he can redeem us from missing Myles Turner  ;D

I don't see anything that translates right now to the NBA, again right now. What many people fail to mention about Turner at UT was the horrible situation he was in. Horrible coach that literally never tried to space the floor(complete noob) and the players were not very good at shooting anyway.....he got fired after the season even though he was a great recruiter.

Turner was hitting shots while being surrounded by defenders and the other teams really packed it in. His turn-around jumper in college was at least 1 thing that could translate well to the NBA game. Also his gait problems were more noticible back then and he has improved a good amount in less than a year. The dr said it would be 2 years before his legs/hips/glutes/gait would be 100%, which is scary.

Zimmerman has been a name on the circuit for awhile now and he def could be a great player at the 4. He has that long neck but his arms are not super short like KO, if he grows a bit more then he will have a lot more luck and better chance to prove himself in the NBA. At least he has more length than the Zellers lol.

I really hate starting new threads so I'm sticking this article in here hope someone finds it interesting.

I did...TP.....nice insight into freshman who are high on mocks without playing much.

The NBA is so enamored with potential that players like Hield, Brice Johnson, Wayne Seldon, Darnell Valentine, Poeltl, Melo Trimble, Nigel Hayes as upperclassmen are all (in my opinion) undervalued.
