The game deciding 16-0 run last night was full of SFs.  Crowder, Jerebko, Turner, Hunter all on the floor with KO.

Crowder - SF
Jerebko - PF
Turner - SG/PG
Hunter - SG

Crowder would be a great backup, but we're not winning a title with him playing 37 min a game there

The way they're getting used, it seems to me like:

Crowder 3/4 (swing)
Jerebko 3/4 (swing)
Turner 1/2/3
Hunter 2/3 (wing)

All four can be used at the 3 in various different lineups.  Crowder's playing big minutes not because we don't have other options at the 3, but because of matchups and effectiveness.

I am distressed that Crowder played 37 minutes last night in the game before a back to back.  This screams at me that we have virtually NO true depth at the SF spot!!!

Can we get a quasi-starting SF for Zeller and a future (late) first rounder??

What teams out there might have a SF to spare?

Thanks for the assistance!!

For Zeller and a late 1st--there's not many valuable SF's available. For that price; any SF we trade for would likely start behind Crowder.

Here are a couple of teams that may have a SF to spare:

Minnesota- Shabazz Muhammad
Houston- KJ McDaniels
Pacers- Chase Budinger? (Might have to include some cash in the trade)
Knicks- Cleanthony Early? (would the Knicks do it?)
Trailblazers- Harkless (Doubt it)

I would LOVE to get Dekker OR McDaniels from the Rockets!!!  Neither are playing much at all!!  I worry that McDaniels is really a SG that cannot yet shoot very well, since he only weighs 205.  He is a tremendous athlete, but would likely easily get pushed off the block!!
