This game will be watched from by brand new NBA League Pass.

Not for nothing, but last time I bought the NBA League Pass we won a championship. Sorry for the jinx.

Everything occurring now is my fault. Sorry guys.

Amir and Crowder hurting Celtics offense so much.

Stevens isn't doing his job. Needs to make a lineup change.

IT has fell down on 5/10 attempts to the hoop. Usually before he's gotten to the hoop when he's trying to dribble around a pick...
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

It seems like Avery's shot selection has drifted back toward mid-range since pre-season.

Yep. Several of us called that, too, because that's exactly what happened last season.

I had a feeling that's how it was gonna go.  Talks a good game, but he reverts to his instincts as a scorer when we get into the real games, and Avery's mindset is to fall back on that dribble-pull-up.

Celts best hope against this team is to goad them into taking deep jumpers.  They can't win a game where Giannis, Jabari, and Monroe are getting a lot of attempts at the rim.

They also need to not turn it over every trip...

Amir and Lee, supposedly two important additions this offseason, have really failed to deliver so far.

IT is just not good for us starting. He's too small, too turnover-prone, and his facilitating seems almost entirely dependent upon him not having an open shot at the basket.

Smart can't come back soon enough.

Stevens isn't doing his job. Needs to make a lineup change.

Stevens kind of has a no-win proposition here, though.  He gets killed for not making changes to adapt the lineup to game circumstances, and then he gets killed for tinkering with lineups too much and continually shifting guys around.

It's tough because the Celts simply don't have any particular lineup they can go to that will play well against a variety of opponents.  Stevens is forced to play mix and match, but mixing and matching prevents his team from establishing a rhythm or settling into set roles.

Sully and Avery are going to get a lot of shots in this game from mid-range. Unlikely to keep the Celts in it that way, but their numbers may look decent by the end.

Seriously.  He had a really nice close out on D, then sprinted down for an and-1 pumpfake cherry pick.  He made basically a 6 point swing in 3 seconds
