I actually like this matchup for us, because I think it gives our bigs a chance to shine offensively. It's going to be hard for Jabari and Monroe to guard our bigs out on the perimeter. We'll just need to make sure to do a good job on the boards.

Also, with Mayo and MCW out, their backcourt is much less impressive. Ante is the only guy we really don't have an answer for defensively I think, but he's not really a world-beater offensively yet.

If I were a Bucks fan I would feel relieved  :police:

Agreed, their backcourt looks much less formidable.  I like what the Bucks did off-season but it may not be enough to get them over the hump and into the elite ranks of the EC.

This game will be watched from by brand new NBA League Pass.

Not for nothing, but last time I bought the NBA League Pass we won a championship. Sorry for the jinx.

Everyone should do themselves a favor and watch Kelly Olynyk's perimeter defense tonight.  It is not a fluke that his defensive rating has been so good.  He is very disruptive to an opposing teams offense the way he is now being used to defend the perimeter and it is highly effective.

The Celtics are leading the league in pace at the highest rate any team has played at in the last 15 years.  This is largely due to K.O. leading the league in pace himself.  It stems from the disruptive perimeter defense creating turnovers.  Look for a lot of this with the young PG the Bucks are starting tonight and young team in general.

As many injuries as they have, our bench should have a heyday out there.
