You knew this was inevitable: A source tells me a Western Conference team has had internal talks about possibly signing Larry Sanders.

Danny should try to sign him if he is only coming on a vet min contract .

No thanks, I would pass - even for the vet min.

This team is full of quality guys with the right attitude and mentality, and that's a ingredient in this in this whole "more than the some of its parts" experiment.  It's all about a group of guys who put the team first, and working for each other.

Start bringing in locker room cancers like Sanders and you risk tearing all of that apart.

I was wondering when Larry Sanders would want to play ball again.

He's worth an interview, to see where his head is at.

I would puff puff pass on Sanders. We already have enough of a logjam at the 4/5 spots.

Nah, not worth it. The only reason we were ever interested in him was his interior D. Now that we have Amir and Zeller he's not worth the risk of ruining team chemistry.

Besides, it seems pretty likely now that Sullinger is going to struggle earning PT on this team, so Sanders probably wouldn't even earn spot minutes.

You guys do realize that nowhere in the rumor does it say anything about Sanders being interested in a comeback?

Next you'll try to tell me that if a Western Conference team has "internal discussions" about acquiring David Lee, it means Lee is on the block.

Seriously, this is "a western conference team wants him to return", not "he is thinking about returning"
I'm bitter.

For me, I don't want to sign him because he will be immediately the least skilled big on the floor. Do we want a tall version of Rondo as an offensive option? No thanks.

Lol. I did like him when he was in his element though. He can't be worse than Javale right?
