Smart really has a knack for getting to the line. That's going to be HUGE for us long term, we really have not had anyone that does that since Paul Pierce.

So far David Lee has been quite productive on a per minute basis in preseason.

Suggests he may still have it in him to put up the stat-lines he once put up when given starter minutes.

Yup, with Smart and IT both attacking the team's problems with getting to the line over the past couple of years certainly stand to improve.

I think he's definitely capable of still being a 15-10 type of guy, he's only two years removed from 18-10 or something like that for a playoff team. We really lucked out here with his situation on the Warriors

IMHO, there's no doubt in my mind Lee is starting at the 4. He's still got it and he's a smart player who I think will thrive in CBS system even if he can't stretch the floor.
