Playing for Fenerbahce Ulker, he's leading them to a halftime lead over the Nets with 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists on 4-7 shooting from the field, 3-4 from 3pt range, and 1 block. I know we have a roster crunch as is, but he had some nice moments for us last season, I would have liked to keep him this year.

An interesting side-note, his teammates there include Pero Antic, Ekpe Udoh, Jan Vesely, and Bogdan Bogdanovic.

Wasn't there something about his season ending early and the C's possibly able to bring him back in the spring?

We have 16 players on guaranteed contracts.

Unless we waive / trade at least two of those guys out by mid-season, he's not coming here.

can anybody forget that suggestion to zeller and the last minute score -with gigi rushing to zeller- now that was a celtic move

I highly doubt it.... The turkish league ends in may and possibly Ulker will have also Euroleague games in spring

Come February, I think the question that is naturally going to pose itself is: Can Datome be had for the BKN pick?

I don't know much about GM Maurizio Gherardini, but I read on reddit that he's intrigued by the Labissiere/Simmons sweepstakes.
