More than a bit nervous about tonight, particularly if Chandler doesn't play.

Here's the question: Is Chandler a bigger loss to PHX than Bargs is to Brooklyn?

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.

Yeah Chandler being out is a bummer. He's the far more important piece vs Lopez.

It's Bledsoe/Knight/Tucker/Morris/Len and a very solid bench

vs the Nets starting 5 and no bench.
Suns have one of the best benches in the NBA.

Hopefully Devin Booker can light em up.

Edit: Keep an eye on John Leure of Phoenix. He has looked VERY polished this season. Some amazing agility for his size. Should crush their bench bigs and also drag Lopez out of the paint.

"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Keeping my eye on Portland (and Denver). Not counting Lakers and Sixers, which are clearly worst than Brooklyn, they're the ones I think might be bad enough by midseason to decide to tank and thus end with a worse record. In the east I only see the Sixers being worst.
So, go Portland (and Denver)!
Even if that scenario came true, Brooklyn would still end as 5th worst record. Not bad.

Do people watch these games on League Pass with the Nets announcers or do they watch them with the other team's announcers?

I get the idea of rooting against the Nets with their opponents' team, but it might be good to get some consistency with the Nets guys.  They're actually pretty good and it's cute to hear them dejected at the end of games.

The Nets are shooting layups like DeAndre Jordan shoots free throws

So, BKN is 5-13. 5-6 after 0-7 start. Yea, I'm calling it, Suns look poopy.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

It's definitely putting a damper on things to see Brooklyn play like a merely bad team after they started out looking historically awful.

I was really excited about getting a top 5 pick for a couple weeks there.

Me too. Apparently, the lottery has started hatin' on us earlier this year than usual.

Celtics ...hated on themselves ....didn't beat the Nets at Brooklyn .....they set themselves up to get a bad pick .    That was a turn a round point for the Nets..

They are playing playoff level basketball with Lopez and Young with the starting lineup ...meaning they can match most any team with their starting five.   They fall off at any point Lopez sits .   To,the point of bad as any team .

Lopez may sink the Celtics pick ....all but himself .
