actually rather cool. kareem, i believe, did marshal arts later in his career i think.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

This version may be slightly different... to include speed boats, attractive women, and AK-47s.

At least he's not riding around bare-chested on a horse...

Wow. If were a Nets fan I would be so happy about this. Imagine all the other teams were working on defending the pick and roll but the Nets were listening to the sound of the water and realizing the fight of the tiger is in balance with nature. That is an hour really well spent.  They will be horrid at basketball but if they get attacked by thugs with baseball bats during a game the Nets are the team to be.

People can rag on about it, if he had done it with KG and PP on the team and they were expected to win stacks of games would anyone care?
Phil Jackson once took  the Lakers paint balling in the pre season

Good to expand the mind occasionally and get guys out of their comfort zones
