You're jumping the gun a bit. He's missed 2 practices with soreness, but he is traveling with the team to Europe.

He's not jumping the gun at all. The guy's had persistent knee problems dating back to college, with one pre-draft evaluation speculating that he had "3-4 years left on those knees" (that was in 2012... three years ago).

PJ3 was most likely never gonna make the team anyway, but yeah, I think that seals it.

I tend to agree with rollie. PJIII might have stood a chance to make the roster if he'd played his heart out and showed something undeniable in training camp, but this sore knee issue is really gonna nip that in the bud.

these are the last two knees in his coffin...
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

I disagree that he's done, but only because I think you need to be something first
I'm bitter.

Yeah, he had an uphill battle to begin with; this should be the final nail in the coffin.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
i thought we were building our offense around him.

That was before we lost the chance to build our defense around Sir Bismack 'smack down ' Biyombo.
Time to go to plan B.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Welp, at least now we can draft Simmons with the Nets pick.
