It goes like this in your opinion who's stock is plummeting or rising.

 Stock rising

Cavs even though there already good.
 Celtics
 Wizards
 Bucks

 Falling stock

Miami not a believer at all.

 76ers can't go much farther.
 Charlotte they stink.
Bulls they won't win 50 this year stock plummets to 41wins.

Would love to hear a coherent argument on the Sixers stock falling. They're clearly a better team than they were last year.
how are they clearly better?  adding Okafor?  sure.  adding a top rookie that plays the same position as your best player who's going to be a second-year player this season.

Philly's still the worst team in the league.

You know they weren't even the worst team in the East last year right? They were the third worst in the NBA.
which points out how much more of a joke they are -- their well-known goal was to be the worst and they couldn't succeed at that.
The fact NY finished worse than Philly was due more to NY injuries than an attempt by them to outsuck Philly

They could very easily have had the worst record last year if they wanted to, but it's pretty obvious you've got no clue what you're talking about when it comes to what the Sixers are doing and no real interest in doing anything but charging windmills on this topic so I won't bother.

Simple. Embiid's latest setback. Not only was he supposed to return this year, but his latest surgery has destroyed his worth as a valuable trade asset.

Their stock is falling because a guy who didn't play last year won't play this year???

Wowzers, that's a jump. They were never trading Embiid regardless, I guess you could argue they can't trade Noel now although if we're talking tradeable assets they're still in way better shape than they were at the end of the year.

riiiight, I can observe that mess and judge that it's a mess and that makes me clueless.   you're a regular rocket scientist  ::)

Nobody said the "sky is falling" merely saying that their stock has fallen. Before the news of Embiid's setback and the draft lottery, you could argue (many have) that the Sixers with Noel, a returning Embiid, and potentially Russell were heading in the right direction. Things changed significantly with the Embiid injury. He was supposed to be "the guy" they were building around. Then the draft didn't bounce their way and they took Okafor. That doesn't mean that Okafor is a bad player, but he doesn't have the upside Embiid has/had or fit a need like Russell would have.
