Check out his per 36 stats in his second year in the NBA. 21.3 ppg 6.4 RPG 2apg. And they have Wiggins, so for the right price they can move him.

He would be an awesome compliment to Jae, and we need an offensive and aggressive scorer and that's what he does. I would give up Boston's 2016 first for him, plus Young and filler.

This player is almost never discussed as a trade target around here.

This player is ranked top 10 advance stats for SF's

This player is somewhat attainable because they have another player same position that's better.

He was a first rounder, born in November, and played in the PAC 12.

I was intrigued to see Shabazz Muhammad have a bounceback second second last year, but it's hard to say if he's really any good, since the T-Wolves were so abysmal last season.

The Wolves may have a better player at SF, but I don't think they have any reason to be in a rush to trade Shabazz.  He and Wiggins can probably play together, especially if Shabazz improves as an outside shooter.

He's a name worth keeping an eye on over the next couple of years, though.

I'm going to guess Andre Igoudala.

Iggy was born in January.

I thought Shabazz was a shooting guard?

KG can you give us a conference, at least?

Shabazz is listed as a SF on ESPN.com/nba/statistics.

I assumed the "advanced stat" referenced here was PER, as is usually the case.

And that's why I asked. I knew it would be something interesting.

And I knew when writing it that would be the giveaway, next time I'll make it harder.

I like Shabazz's game but he is injury prone, or he has been so far, and he's good enough that I see Minnesota keeping him around just because they can. I see Muhammad as kind of a tweener 2/3 who can play the sixth man role for the T-Wolves when they hit their stride 2-3 years from now.

I can't believe how badly Minny ripped off Utah with the Muhammad/Dieng for Trey Burke deal. Wow. Imagine those guys on Utah instead of Minnesota.

We were offering similar picks for that same #9 pick this year (#14 vs #16, #21 vs. #28) plus future firsts so the value was right, Shabazz and Dieng just worked out better. Utah is still solid now but I see your point on if they actually went to Utah over Burke. Geez. Utah still got Gobert so they didn't exactly lose that draft.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

Muhammad could fit into our long term plans for the right price. He's 22 talented, an aggressive scorer which would be a great complement to crowders Defensive game.

If you were Minnesota would you be interested in Turner, Young and Boston's First 2016 for Mohamed.
