Your prediction

KO or Sullinger?
James Young or PJ3?
RJ Hunter or Rozier?
Mickey or Jerebko?

And consider not only from the beginning but overall.

Sully
Young
same
Jerebko

But I don't expect all of them to finish the season with the C's.

KO
Jones
Hunter
Jerebko

I'm going with KO and Hunter because I think Stevens will prefer to have their shooting.  Sully and Rozier don't bring enough other stuff to set themselves apart in my opinion.  I'd rather have IT or Turner with the ball on the perimeter over Rozier, and I'd rather run a pick and roll with or throw it down low to Lee or Zeller over Sully.

On the other hand, Stevens won't reach all the way down the depth chart to Young for shooting.  It's basically the only thing the kid can do.  Jones is much more likely to explode during pre-season and POSSIBLY earn himself some minutes.  It's gonna take a huge improvement from either to get on the active roster, and I simply feel Jones is more likely to make a name for himself in brief minutes.

Jerebko over Mickey is pretty obvious in my opinion.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Whoever started this discussion thread reminds me how long it has been since Celtics fans had sometime meaningful to talk about. James Young or Perry Jones? Are either of those guys even going to be on the team? The Celtics need to give the fans something to talk about other than which mediocre players are going to play more because this topic could not possibly matter any less.

you have a bad day or something?

yes Young and PJ3 are on the team as of now.  Nobody knows which player will be cut or if there will be a trade between now and the start of the season.

Also one or both could end up being decent players in the NBA. Young has not progressed as expected but it will take time. He is still only 20.  PJ3 needs one more shot to prove he belongs

Based on what, his fitness level last year?   His better three point shooting? His superior RPM?   His rebounding is the only thing you can give him a clear nod too.

Sullinger
Young
Hunter
Jerebko

KO will get 10-20 minutes here and there depending on matchups.

PJ3 will be cut.

Rozier will play in the D-League and occasionally play 10-15 minutes.

Mickey will play in the D-League.

Sully .......he is the better player when healthy and fit.

PJ ...gets cut .....as DA finds no home for ET .....on this planet

Hunter .....court savy and height too valuable

Jonas ...too much experience over Mickey right now .. JJ knows the NBA and players

I think in all honesty that Sully was a better player than KO when unfit, too.   Lights out a better rebounder but even healthy I doubt that he will be a better shooter than KO.   Nothing indicates that can shoot the threes.   Losing weight may help his footspeed which is rock bottom anyways but how exactly will it help his shooting stroke?  Bird's weight would flucuate early in his career but he could still shoot well.   This leads me to believe that Sully who is not a down town shooter may not suddenly become Chuck Person overnight either.  That being said, losing weight, will help him some in other areas.

Sullinger, he's the team's best rebounder, probably not as good a low post scorer as David Lee, but he can space the floor with a little bit more range than Lee. If Sullinger shoots just 35% from three I will be pleased.

Reasonably optimistic Stat line for Sullinger:

15 ppg, 8 rpg, 1 blk, 48% FG 35% 3PT, if he does any better than that, say 16-19 ppg and 9-10 rebounds then he's a borderline star. Any less, and he's not really getting better..

Outside of the Sully/Olynyk debate (and make Jerbenko), my vote would be "little to none" unless we're talking about the Red Claws.
