I know a lot of people care a ton about embiid since we have had epic threads (and arguments about him). There are some new updates on him for those interested.

I think the Sixers are just being extra conservative with their estimates after being wrong at least twice already. There are a lot of positive signs for Embiid from the latest reports. His doctors stated after the surgery that the bone was even more structurally sound than they imagined , and Hinkie said Embiid's doctors never required any walking boot or anything before his surgery , he was pain free and playing at an extremely high level before the scan that revealed less healing . They also reiterated that he never rebroke the bone. I think they are just going to be very patient bringing him back to action.

I can't recall one incident where a completed surgery doesn't immediately have glowing reports. I think his bone could've been found shattered into a million pieces and the release would be the same.

This sucks.  I want to see him reach his potential even if it is for the 76ers.

Ha ha

Sixers putting the spin out early ,  wanting to cut bait and run , the longer his status lingers the more his value declines .

Trying to,avoid a complete disaster with that pick........we'll put duck tape on him .....not touch him and show him off as a prize ....

Right. ::)

It's like balancing an egg on their head .....

Go ahead Philly .....play him 82 games and try and compete ......let's see the product you wish you had .

He ll. fly apart like a cheap toy .

Watch Embiid become perfectly healthy in time for free agency.

Sorry to see that it does look like he is on the Oden plan.
