http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/draft/mock/?season=2016&source=Chad-Ford-Big-Board

1. Ben Simmons, SF
2. Skal, C
3. Jaylen Brown, SF
4. Brandon Ingram, SF
5. Jamal Murray, PG
6. Malik Pope, SF
7. Dragan Bender, SF
8. Henry Ellenson, C
9. Malik Newman, SG
10. Jakob Poeltl, C

With the obvious caveat that things are going to change between now and then, I've got us picking Malik Pope at #6 with the Nets pick, assuming BPA.

I'm kinda hoping for Poeltl, though, just for the unintentional Tommy Heinsohn pronunciation humor.

Big-time. No complaints from me.

Works for the Celts, if they're lucky enough to get a top 10 pick.  Here's hoping.

If Bender is a SF, so is Dirk. The kid is 7'1''.

Jonathan Bender was a "small forward" at 7'0".

That's what makes him intriguing.

If the Celts end up with a pick toward the later part of the lottery, Jakob Poeltl could be an alright consolation.  Was hoping he'd come out in the draft this year for the Celts to take at 16.

Hmm. I'm guessing the Sixers take a Center in this draft.

That's what makes him intriguing.

I mean Kevin Durant was a shooting guard and Chris Webber was a power forward, so it's not as if this is entirely unprecedented.

I'd like to see Bender on the Celtics just so our board gets 100% more Futurama jokes.

I am culturally illiterate and don't understand this allusion.  I googled "Furturama Bender" and learned that Bender is a character on a show called Futurama. If you are like me, here is Bender's wiki page for you to peruse:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bender_(Futurama)

Only if the Celtics take an undersized guard.

I thought this was going to be a 2 player draft but it's really looking like Brown and Ingram are legit.

Will be interesting if Brimah puts it together. If he does he gets into lottery range.
