I find it amazing that both Snoop Dogg's kid and P Diddy's kid were on the UCLA football team together the last few months and in that time P Diddy attacked the head coach and Snoop's kid has quit the team. That team had the possibility of being the best/most fun college football team ever. And now I guess it won't be. I am sad about this.

Hoping for that but my [dang] buckeyes kept making mistakes and let them back into the game.

So Oregon is the #7 team in the country. They go on the road with a QB starting in his 2nd game for them and lose to the #5 team by 3 points in the last minute. They should move ahead of #6 Auburn that had to go into overtime to beat Jacksonville St. If that doesn't happen that is a problem in college football. Or maybe the can go down behind a couple teams that won, but then Auburn has to go down too

By the same token Mich St should move ahead of Baylor who beat Lamar I think, and possibly TCU. And maybe even temporarily Bama, who beat Middle Tennessee and Ohio St who beat Hawaii.

Wow the Penn State kicker is fatter than Chris Christie. Just about. I mean maybe not as bad as that but he's like 21.  He's like 21 year old Chris Christie. ....Wait. Who names their kid Chris Christie?

Ohio State has a hard time with Indiana but stays #1 because #2 MSU only beat Purdue by a couple points and #3 Ole Miss lost. I maybe would have gone with TCU at #1 after they obliterated Texas

Maybe the least surprising news

http://www.usctrojans.com/blog/2015/10/sarkisian-terminated-as-usc-football-coach.html

Quote
Here is a statement from USC athletic director Pat Haden:

"After careful consideration of what is in the best interest of the university and our student-athletes, I have made the decision to terminate Steve Sarkisian, effective immediately.

"I want to thank Clay Helton for stepping into the interim head coach role, and I want to add how proud I am of our coaching staff and players and the way they are responding to this difficult situation.

"Through all of this we remain concerned for Steve and hope that it will give him the opportunity to focus on his personal well being."

Spurrier retired last night.  Weird retiring mid-season like that.  I guess the 4 straight losses must have indicated to him that he was doing more harm than good.  Still strange to see a storied coach like that retire all of a sudden.
