The question is: If you were a 15th man fringe player would you A) Accept Camp Invite or B) Take money/playing time overseas?

When considering the celtics roster situation, i.e. all the guaranteed contracts already in place, I can't blame him.

Celtics is one team at this point I would not take an invite from. First you have to pray to get ANY PT to get a chance to beat someone out, then if you outplay our guarantees, it has to be by A MILE for us to even think about cutting them or trading them to make room for you b/c they make a good amount of money and have some trade value over you.

Easy, go play overseas!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Bit of a shame, not necessarily for us but I was hoping their might be a chance for Alexander to resurect his career. That guy was drafted too high but he had some serious talent.

At the very least glad to see Danny is leaving no stone unturned.

I would take overseas money every day

Sounds like he made the right move.

If the money is good overseas, why not take the sure thing. It's all basketball, he already played abroad last season, and playing in Italy sounds like fun.

I'd take the money overseas, and then invest it in income property.

With the C's he would be the 17th man - pretty bad odds that he could stick. Even if his prime objective is to make it in the NBA, this camp invite looks like a dead end.
