I'm gonna miss Bass. He was always a consistent player with a very solid mid-range jumper and a strong finisher. That being said, however, we really don't need him at all anymore and paying for him would actually be counter productive. Is Bass significantly better than any of the following:
Zeller
Olynyk
Lee
Amir
Sully

I don't think so. We already have a crazy logjam upfront not to mention the addition of Jordan Mickey as well. I wish Bass the best, I just hope his new team sucks  :P

Bass was no star, but he did work his ass off and improved every year. Seems like a real pro. I can understand why we didn't take him back but I can't say I'm thrilled to lose him.

Really had hoped Bass would land with a contender - reports were that plenty of teams would have loved to have him on the bench, just not at his previous salary. Why did he end up with the unfortunate LA team? No room on the Clip ship I guess.

I agree with most of your sentiments...disagree that he wasn't significantly better than Sully or KO.  I originally thought not resigning him was Danny's biggest error of the summer.  I'm starting to have a change of heart with the signing of Amir, Lee and Mickey.  We'll have to wait to see what the season brings.

i also found it a bit hard when i saw his his first LAL interview, but tbh i think we ll be better off without him.

I'll miss this guy. A real pro. Just imagine if we had him off the bench instead of Big Baby from 2009-2011, when the Big 3 was still competing for a title...Bass just gave A+ effort, hustle and efficiency every game.
