Days up and down they come, like rain on a conga drum, forget most, remember some, don't turn none away.   Townes Van Zandt

The first couple of seasons of Homeland with Brodie were nailbiters.  He was awesome.  Actor is decent in Billionaires too, but that show is a bit much sometimes.

Homeland's first season was amazing. The rest of the story till the death of Brodie was boring and predictable. It got much better in the last two seasons imho. BTW Love Billions :D

Damian Lewis' best moments were in Band of Brothers

Not big fan of Vikings. I find the acting strange (even bad) in most cases and the story line lately looks .. well ... also strange. maybe it is may fault cause i started watching it having the impression it is was more of a documentary.

I don"t see much love for House of cards .... :(

4. House of Cards
3. Game of Thrones (could move up or down)
2. Sopranos
1. Californication (before this, I didn't like Duchovny much, but he was a master in this)

These are the 4 that I have enjoyed the most, personally.

I am not arguing their artistic merits (there are no Citizen Kanes here), but rather how entertaining they were (are) to me.

Whenever I need a laugh, I just go to Youtube and play a Californication clip......irreverent, brash, sensitive, sobering, occasionally dark, but eventually always uplifting. I would post the link for the opening scene of the first episode of the first season here, but this site is PG, so I will stay within the rules. But that scene in the church with the nun is hilarious and the theme (song) of the whole series, the Stones "You Can't Always Get What You Want" which plays in the background and interludes throughout the series is introduced here.

Hank Moody, the Everyman of R-rated romantic comedies.

Really like, Last week tonight. Funny and informative.
Probably here somewhere, but Shameless is great.
Also really liked 6 Feet Under.

  • Yup
FX ....Fargo

I think I'm getting close to checking out Fargo.

My kids broke me down and got me to subscribe to Netflix.  Sadly, I've been bingeing on The 100.  Which is really cheesy, but I can't seem to stop myself.
Yup
