Watching the presser today I'm starting to get excited about the C's chances this year.  The celtics are legit. With the additions of Lee, Amir and Perry plus the resignings of Crowder and jerebko.  Smart coming into his second year.  Avery Bradley.  KO and Sully, Turner and Zeller.  Isiaiah could have a huge season this year. He has a lot of guys to work with.  That's not even mentioning the rookies we have on our roster.  Rozier, Hunter and Mickey all look legit too.

The Celts would have to win 55+ games and IT would have to put up something like what he averaged per-36 minutes for the Celtics last year:

26 pts 7.5 ast 3 reb 1 stl

Even that probably wouldn't be enough to compete with the likes of Bron, Durant, Harden, Curry, & Westbrook, and it'd still be an amazing feat.

If he gets any MVP votes at all our season will probably have gone better than expected.

CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Hard to be MVP if you don't start and don't play over 30 minutes per game.  Definite SMOY candidate, though.

I think this season is going to go better than a lot  of fans expect I guess.  I expect a lot of this team so if we are in the top tier in the east someone is going to get recognition.

This blog borders on the ridiculous sometimes, and this is such a moment.

I bet most of you were predicting we'd be a lottery team last year and if anyone said anything otherwise that was ridiculous too.

What i'm saying isn't ridiculous at all anyways how i mean it.  Thomas has a lot to work with this year.  Bold maybe.  Ridiculous?  Nah.

Thomas should have a very good year this year.  Under the radar absolutely.

he would have to be a starter first, after that he needs to actually gain votes from the media. If you look at the previous season, the media didn't even give him the nod for the 6th man award.
His offensive skills are mvp caliber, but on the defensive side he is questionable at best. I would love for him to get the award, but the media might say otherwise.

He could be an All-Star if we end up being solid and he gets starter minutes.

Crazy how good his Per 36 numbers were with us last year.
