I think he would be a great pickup, he ist still just 21 years of age, athletic and a promising defender.
In my opinion he would fit well in our culture and could flourish under CBS.
It would be great if we could include one of our many guards in a deal, what do you think the sixers could want in return?
Probably picks right? I mean were talking about the sixers!  ;D

I like him as a player but the C's and 76ers aren't really doing deals with each other these days. Both are teams collecting young talent and picks. I'm sure the 76ers would probably want more than he's worth.

I'd want him if he could play small forward, but I'm not sure what I would want to give up for him

Guards. The Sixers would probably want guards.

the celtics already have 16 players under contract for the upcoming season, yes? whose spot on the roster do you propose Grant take away?
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Maybe we could trade Bradley for Gant and a pick in a three team trade.
As far as I know the jazz like Bradley, they could send trey burke to the sixers if they still do.
I think the sixers would be more interested in a young pg than Bradley.

We already got a better version of Grant in Mickey.

Grant is not a pure sf

Triboy, I know Mickey is your new favorite, but seriously.  Grant and Mickey don't play the same positions at all.  If you want to say that we don't need Grant because we already have PJ3, or Crowder, that's fine.  Heck, I'd point out that we don't have enough room to sign Jonathan Holmes, who's probably at least Grant's equal.  But Grant and Mickey wouldn't have remotely the same roles on this team.  Mickey is a big, Grant is a swing.

If Ainge wanted a player like Grant he would have drafted Justin Anderson or RHJ at 16. You all need to start to realize that Stevens and Ainge are happy with Turner and Crowder at the 3 for now. The plan to improve the 3 MUST be in the 2016 draft where multiple skilled 3's will be available in the top 5 and with 3 potential lottery picks it is not hard to see us move into a top 5 position in the draft.
