He has a better shot in LAC. The West is better but so is that LAC team. Paul must have thought so too.

That's a tough one. I'm not sure that Washington is good enough to win a title (even in the East), but having to get through probably two of SAS, GS, Houston, and OKC in the playoffs will be almost impossible for them. I'd say it's 50/50 with them, especially since they're not changing the Hack-a-Shaq rules.

Definitely LAC. You got the No. 1 Point running the offense, no. 1 defensive Center protecting the paint and a player who blows at Lebron's ear.  ;D

if we compare it

wall vs. cp3
beal vs. stephenson/reddick
pierce/otto vs. pierce/crawford
nene vs. griffin
gortat vs. jordan

the hawks beat the wizards last playoffs
and the wizards swept the raptors 4-0

i don't even think clippers with pierce can swept the raptors
i'm just not sure if they are beating the hawks though

and yes houston spurs warriors pelicans are stacked up teams

and if john wall was healthy, i think they can go far last playoffs
and back-up center ks is killing it

The Clippers already had IMO the best starting lineup in the NBA. They had one weakness: their bench. They proceeded to address that issue. The Clippers are going to be terrific next year.

This year, LAC. Next year when KD is in Washington, WASH.

The Otto Porter discussion yesterday got me thinking about how nice it would be to have a backcourt of Wall and Beal for years to come. Man...

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Yes of course.
LA have two top 10 players in Griffin and CP3.
Washington had no top 10 players- Wall is their closest piece to being a top 10 player.

The Clippers will have to get out of the brutal West which is the hardest part- but that Washington team is never beating the Cavs unless Lebron is injured.

So yeah,  the West is a tougher trip to the finals, but the Clippers would CRUSH the Wizards in a 7 game series, and would have a good shot at beating the Cavs.
Problem is they have to get past the Warriors, OKC, Houston in the West.

I think the best starting line up was the Cavs with Lebron, Kyrie, Love, but the Clippers were very close.

You've got 4 teams with absolutely stud filled starting 5's now.

Clippers: CP3, Reddick/Stephenson, Pierce, Blake, DeAndre.
Rockets: Lawson, Harden, Ariza, Jones, Howard.
OKC: Wesbrook, Morrow, Durant, Ibaka, Kanter.
Cavs: Kyrie, ?, lebron, Love, Mozgov.

Warriors will be hard pressed to make the WCF if the West stays healthy imo.

Where are we in disagreement?
You think Wall is a top 10 player or not a top 10 player?

He's an absolute stud. Belongs in a Tier 3 alongside Kyrie, LaMarcus, Kawhi, etc. What he gives up against Kyrie in shooting, he makes up for in playmaking.

I agree he's awesome.
The point is that he's more like a top 20 player rather than a top 10 player.
I think the Clips have mutiple top 10 players.

That Clipper roster is pretty stacked right now. I'm not sure who their backup center is but the starting lineup is great and they've got some wing depth they really needed last season. It's going to be a bloodbath at the top of the West.
