Mickey must've read the blog this a.m. He's in beast mode.

Wish we had a lot more room on our roster for these guys to start playing & developing this year.

Of course we have room, its called trade Sully and play the kids!!!! You trade Sully, you make KO a full-time stretch five, you limit old man Lee's minutes and you give Mickey and Johnson the load at the four. Problem solved, do you have another problem on the roster you want to solve.

See, CBS does not allow players to rot on the bench (well unless you are Crash Wallace).

Mickey can handle the ball like a guard. This is looking like a Hunter heat check game.

He gives me a sorta Jeff Green feel when he takes it to the rim

I reckon some moves will need to be made, too many frieken bodies. Would be all for giving our new 3 a good bit of PT.

I'd love to see Crash and Bogans goin' at it in summer league

^ Thank you. Ask Brad Stevens if he cares about that roster switch. Dude's had the most roster turnover ever. He'd handle Mickey in Sullinger's role just fine. And you know what? I don't care if Sullinger slims down. He's fat. He ran into Avery Bradley during the end of a winnable playoff game last season. Get Mickey on our team and get him in the rotation.

These commentators are pretty good. Much better than the other summer league games I've seen.

I really like this Hunter/Mickey combo

Both have 11 at the half. Mickey is 5/7 from the field and RJ is 4/7 (2/4 from DEEP). Great play by both so far.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

James Young looked great in this half. That's the James Young most of us were expecting.

Mickey has the right physique for a power forward or even center. He is straight and has a long neck. Hi shoulder are broad and look like they can easily be built for the upper body strength you need to bang inside. He has incredible balance and strength to finish after drawing fouls. He reminds me of Calvin Natt.
